Employer of Record
(EOR) Services

An Employer of Record (EOR) is a third-party organisation that legally employs workers on behalf of another company. We employ South Africans who work remotely for our UK clients. This arrangement allows businesses to hire employees in different countries without the need to establish a local entity, simplifying the complexities of international employment. The EOR assumes all legal responsibilities associated with employment, including compliance with local labour laws, payroll processing, and benefits administration. While their clients take responsibility for the technical direction and supervision of the personnel deployed into their service.

How RAEORA EOR Services Helps You Build a Team

Our Step-by-Step Team Building Process

1. CONSULTATION

We consult with you to understand your specific business needs, establishing what bespoke services we can offer you.

2. CREATING A JOB DESCRIPTION

We align existing job descriptions with the identified type of staffing arrangements and requirements that best suit your needs. The practical rollout of the job description is also assessed to ensure that it dovetails with the expected daily operational structure (monitoring protocols, software, etc.).

3. RECRUITING THE BEST CANDIDATE(S)

Expect a 2-3-week recruitment process turnaround time, during which we ensure that we find you the best candidate(s) related to the crafted job description. Recruitment of specialist skilled staff might take slightly longer. We will provide you with selected resumes, and you, as the client, will approve and have the final say as to which specific candidate(s) is/are employed.

4. ONBOARDING

Once a candidate has been appointed, we assist in the onboarding process.

5. MONITORING

We will agree upfront on what monitoring systems you, as a client, want to have. Thereafter, we implement them accordingly.

6. PAYROLL/INVOICING

We pay the staff and invoice you, the client, once a month in advance. Our invoices to you are payable in full within 14 days of receipt.

Home or Office-Based Staff: Which is Right for You?

When deciding between home-based or office-based staff, it’s essential to consider how your company can operate most effectively and efficiently. Here are some key factors to weigh:

HOME-BASED STAFF

COST EFFICIENCY

Home-based staff typically incur lower infrastructure costs, providing a cost-effective and lower-risk employment solution. This model can significantly reduce overhead expenses associated with physical office spaces.

INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS

The infrastructure required for home-based staff is tailored to meet client specifications. We can assist in setting up the necessary technology and support systems, ensuring that employees have everything they need to perform effectively from home.

FACILITIES CAN INCLUDE

  • Individual workstations

  • Physical security measures

  • Reliable internet connections

  • Air-conditioning

  • Refreshment stations

SECURITY AND MONITORING

For companies requiring specific platform access, they can implement security protocols on home systems.

OFFICE-BASED STAFF

ENHANCED SECURITY AND INTERACTION

Office-based setups are ideal for businesses that prioritise stringent data security, face-to-face interactions, and a stable infrastructure. This environment is particularly beneficial for teams that require collaboration and immediate communication.

COMPREHENSIVE INFRASTRUCTURE

Through our established relationships with South African property agents, we can help you set up an exclusive, competitively priced office tailored to your needs. This can include:

  • Meeting rooms (training, board, etc.)

  • Additional facilities to support team collaboration
